COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course covers form concepts, design, syntax and implementation techniques using DECforms User Interface. The course consists of the following parts:

• DECforms overview
• Introduction to IFDL
• Introduction to the Panel Editor
• Program responses
• Building Executables
• The debugging environment
• Forms manager Runtime System
• Using the trace facility

TARGET AUDIENCE:

This course is intended for students who need to become familiar with the Compaq’s version of the FIMS forms management software implementation.

PRE-REQUISITES:

Students should be familiar with a text editor and a programming language in order to complete the labs.

OBJECTIVES:
