COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course covers concepts, design, syntax, implementation techniques and management of ACMS applications, integrating Oracle™ RDB, DECforms and ACMS.

The ACMS/Oracle™ RDB development course has two parts:

	DECforms overview & design Oracle™ RDB/SQL overview
	ACMS Application Development

TARGET AUDIENCE:

This course is intended for students who need to become familiar with the integration of the VMS ACMS TP monitor with DECforms from Compaq Computer Corporation and Oracle RDB™ from Oracle.

PRE-REQUISITES:

Students should be familiar with OpenVMS, a text editor and a programming language in order to complete the labs.

OBJECTIVES:

On completion of the course, students will be able to:

	Understand Oracle RDB/SQL™
	Understand the ACMS architecture
	Understand the Application Definition Language (ADL)
	Understand the ACMS run time system
	Build an ACMS application
