PRE-REQUISITES:

Student should be familiar with:

OpenVMS at the system management level
ACMS at the System Management level.

This course is intended for personnel interested in ACMS TP Monitor system internals.

Outlines the ACMS architecture, review basic terminology and describes the major system components.

Inter-Process Communication:

Outlines the way ACMS creates processes and the Inter-process facility.

Application Components:

Outlines the ACMS runtime components not covered in Chapter 1.

Runtime Walk-Through:

Provides a walk-through of the non-distributed ACMS runtime environment.

Distributed Transaction Management-DECdtm:

Outlines the DECdtm concepts and the ACMS support for DECdtm.
