DCU-M-0412 ACMS Internals Duration: 03 Days Course type: Lecture/Lab COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course covers the internal processing of ACMS Transaction monitor. PRE-REQUISITES: Student should be familiar with: OpenVMS at the system management level ACMS at the System Management level. TARGET AUDIENCE: This course is intended for personnel interested in ACMS TP Monitor system internals. AGENDA: The following material will be covered: Runtime Components: Outlines the ACMS architecture, review basic terminology and describes the major system components. Inter-Process Communication: Outlines the way ACMS creates processes and the Inter-process facility. Application Components: Outlines the ACMS runtime components not covered in Chapter 1. Runtime Walk-Through: Provides a walk-through of the non-distributed ACMS runtime environment. Distributed Transaction Management-DECdtm: Outlines the DECdtm concepts and the ACMS support for DECdtm.
