The Reliable Transaction
Router (RTR) is fault tolerant, transactional middleware software for widely distributed client/server applications.
RTR provides remote site shadowing, continuous availability with transaction integrity, and scaleable performance across a large number of widely distributed multivendor systems.
RTR takes responsibility for detecting network, node, site, and application failures in the distributed environment and providing transparent failover, recovery, and database resynchronization with transaction integrity. Application software is insulated from the underlying complexity of the network configuration.
